Halftime is a valuable time in the middle of our Summer. This is a time where the interns and will take a step back to rest. We are prayerful during this time. We want to continue to be driven by disciples making disciples. We are respectfully asking that we give our interns a much needed break. We don't want students texting or hanging out with the interns during this week. We are wanting the interns to charge their batteries for the second 1/2 of the summer.
During 1/2 time there will be no youth activities. There will be no guys/girls bible studies or game nights.
Packing List: Bring a sleeping bag or sheets, pillow, personal items, towels, regular camp clothes (these must be modest. Students will be asked to change if viewed as inappropriate), $20 for a room key deposit (refunded at checkout), personal spending money, and a Bible. You may also want to bring a tennis racket, ball glove, raquetball racket, frisbee, or a guitar. Students receive 3 meals a day from the cafeteria. Some students order late pizzas or snacks throughout the week. This is an extra cost. Students also need to bring $$ for travel days. They'll eat lunch on the way there and on the way back.
Jr. Impact: We will leave the church parking lot at 5:30am on Friday morning. We will have some donuts for you. We will return around 1:00 on Monday.
Sr. Impact: We will leave the church parking lot at 9:30am on Monday morning. We will return Saturday around 2:00 on Monday.
Expectations: We expect our students to draw closer to our God and grow closer together. We pray all of our students have this same attitude. In the past, Landmark has not had the best reputation. We've pulled pranks and acted up throughout the week. Poor, Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Going to impact is a privilege that we do not want to lose. Any student that has to appear before the impact board because of their behavior will be sent home. Parents will be responsible for picking them up from Nashville.
1 Bag and 1 Carryon: Since we have a very full bus, we have to make sure there is enough room for everyone. We need each student to bring only one suitcase and one carry on. They will also bring their sleeping bags/pillows.
What not to Bring: Radios, TV's, laser pointers, ipods, DVD players, Ipads, computers and other electronics are not permitted. These items can easily be lost or stolen.
Cell Phone Policy. Students may keep their phones. However, if a student uses their phone during class, worship, or devotionals the phone will be confiscated until the end of Impact.
Alcohol/Drug Policy: Alcohol, drugs (your counselor should be notified of any prescription drugs you are taking), fireworks, laser pointers, or any type of weapon are not allowed on campus. Any of these items will be taken by an IMPACT Staff person and held until the camper leaves at the end of IMPACT.
Homesick: Many times Impact will be a student’s first trip away from home. We thank you for trusting us! Please know that your child’s safety & well being is our top priority. If your child becomes homesick we will do our best to comfort your child. If the homesickness becomes a distraction to other students & starts to sour their experience, the parent will be asked to come to Nashville.
An exciting training experience to start the Summer. Our goal as a Student Ministry is to be disciples that make disciples. During the course of 3 days we will have an outdoor experience that highlights the importance of disciples making.

Fall Retreat is an amazing event in the middle of our semester. It's a great time for everyone to take a pause from the busyness and worship our God.
This year we will be going to Camp Ascca in Jackson's Gap. Combining the beauty of Lake Martin with the community of our students will make for one amazing retreat.
We want all of our students to participate in this great weekend. We will be taking a close look at Proverbs 4:23. Everything we do flows out of our our heart. So we must protect it.
November 10-12. Due to school events, the retreat will start on Friday evening and end on Sunday evening. Most students are out of school on Friday due to Veterans day. We want to encourage all students to get their homework done before the retreat so they can be fully present throughout the weekend.
